What web programming languages can the iPhone OS 3.1.3 handle displaying in Safari? And links too development kits would be nice if there’s one you highly recommend. NO PAID SOFTWARE OR CLASSES!
What l meant, like Java Script runs poorly in Safari/iPhone so what are my alternatives?

Web browsers don’t display programming languages (unless you mean the source code, which is text – then the answer is “any”). Web browsers display HTML (using CSS for styling) – regardless of which browser or which computer (or phone) you’re using.

Development kit for HTML? No such thing – you just write it (after you learn it, of course). Notepad or anything better (but Notepad will work).

Question by Someone: Is there any program for automatizing web programming?
I have to make simple HTML document with some css and JavaScript. I know all of those, but I would really prefer to make an template using visual interface (like in Microsoft word), So that all the process will be faster. And later I could edit it through script.
So could you suggest any program to make such thing?
Or maybe there’s something else that could make web programming faster?

I believe Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 would be great. it has all the features to drag & drop elements, as well as editing the script

At the same time, computer networks cover larger and larger areas of the planet. Combining these two technological improvements is likely to give birth to new application fields such as the “internet of things” or the “ambient intelligence”. However developing the innovative applications made possible by this new infrastructure is currently challenging. Firstly, because they are new and yet difficult to imagine. Secondly, because from a computer scientist perspective, suitable tools are lacking. To help face this problem, we have conceived the HOP programming language whose syntax and semantics are specially crafted for programming distributed “diffuse” applications. HOP is built on top of standard Web technologies, which it uses as the components of a virtual machine. This provides HOP with several assets such as portability, availability, and versatility. In order to demonstrate that HOP, and its SDK, can be used to program realistic applications, we have started to develop a number of diffuse HOP applications. Perl CGI programming is the same kind of programming used for your web pages but your code runs on a web server and not the console platform. Also, STDIN, STDOUT, and STDERR are not tied to the console. Other than that, it`s just Perl, so your previous skills in programming are applicable. The only change is the input/output, and it really isn`t terribly different.

I would move ASP, C++ into WAD. Basically the difference is in level of capability.

Typical web programming reference to simple web pages, with some level of sophistication & capability.

Web application development is about developing web based solutions that use front end web clients that interact with back end web & database servers to provide a solution.
