Need Freelance Copywriter

Need Freelance Copywriter

Need a freelance copywriter? Look no further. Plug Into Projects, a service by afaqs! offers a platform for clients and freelancers to meet and do business online. After thorough research of the advertising, media and marketing industry, afaqs! came to the conclusion that the space was growing at a rapid pace in India and there was no one community/platform to bind them. Freelance Exchange was conceived with this thought in mind.

Professionals like graphic designers, web designers, marketing executives and technical writers these days feel that taking up project based work is more beneficial than working in an organization. It not only gives them freedom but an opportunity to work on different kinds of projects.

Freelance Exchange came into existence a year back but already has more than 4500 freelancers and 2500 clients registered on the site. The client list includes Andra Publications, BenQ, Gini & Jony, Infomedia 18, UTV, Ogilvy & Mather, Pinstorm, Kotak Mahindra, Emami and Reader’s Digest. Most of the clients receive proposals from interested freelancers within a day of putting up the assignment on the website. A free service for clients, Freelance Exchange is an easy-to-use website.

This is what our Jayjit Dasgupt, a freelance writer, editor and creative strategist, has to say about the site, “There’s an incredible pool of really cool stuff happening out there, and Freelance Exchange lets freelancers like me be a part of it. Through it, I have met some really interesting people and worked on some pretty good projects. And the pay’s usually satisfying, too! Freelance Exchange is forever getting bigger and better! If you’ve got talent, trust me, this is where you’d like to be seen.”

Mr. Sumit Goyal, Vice President of Katyani Group of Companies, a client with Freelance Exchange since Aug.2008, says, “Freelance Exchange is wonderful concept and a brilliant idea. The customer care team is not only experienced, but also very helpful. I have personally benefited a lot by using this service. It is an open platform where I could interact with a lot of talented professionals. “

After observing the nature of postings on the website, we realised that companies like creative work such as copy writing.

Freelance Exchange is only a facilitator. It does not charge commission. They is a small fee that the freelancers have to pay at the time of registration.

FreelanceBlogger.net Launched to Help Displaced Writers, Bloggers Find Work

Beloit, WI (PRWEB) November 17, 2008

FreelanceBlogger.net launched on October 10, 2008 as a response to the growing number of displaced writers and bloggers seeking work after losing their full-time job. Founder Genia Stevens says, “Initially, I started the blogging job board as a way to bring available blogging jobs directly to me. But, after noticing how many other displaced writers were seeking work, I decided I wasn’t the only one who needed assistance.”

FreelanceBlogger.net is an online community that serves as a free matchmaking service for bloggers and companies looking for bloggers. Bloggers post their professional profile in the categories that best fit their expertise; companies post their open blogging jobs in the Available Freelance Blogging Jobs category. New bloggers who are interested in learning more about finding freelance blogging jobs can access blogging articles free of charge.

Blogging has become one of the most effective social media marketing tools. Companies search for freelance bloggers to help maximize their online marketing efforts for several reasons: limited resources, time-constraints, and lack of a knowledgeable in-house blogger. Freelance bloggers often provide social media marketing services to their client by default. Stevens says, “Bloggers want to promote their work so they often bookmark their own blog postings on various social bookmarking web sites. They also encourage their readers to bookmark their blog posts.”

Visit FreelanceBlogger.net for more information.

FreelanceBlogger.net is an online community for freelance bloggers and companies looking for freelance bloggers. Established in October 2008, FreelanceBlogger.net aims to be the premiere resource for both bloggers and companies looking for professional bloggers.

Best answer:

Answer by vwgirlie
list it as position: freelance photographer, company: self employed.

the “self employed” part is a big bonus, because on top of your photography skills, it also implies that you have a knowledge of business proceedures, management etc etc.

New Employment Website Helps Graphic Designers Find Freelance Graphic Design Jobs

Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) January 26, 2009

A group of Internet-based graphic designers has launched GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com (http://www.graphicdesignfreelancejobs.com), a new website to help graphic designers find their next paying freelance graphic design jobs. GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com gives freelancers free access to hundreds of current freelance graphic design jobs.

Graphic designers can find freelance jobs for many popular and niche-focused design disciplines, such as graphic design, logo design, banner design, website design, and print design. The site’s easy-navigation lets graphic designers click on a specific design discipline to find the best-matched design job; otherwise, users can use the site’s search tool to find specific freelance jobs by keyword or job type.

GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com fulfills a demand to review and list freelance graphic design jobs from a variety of online job boards, as well as organize job listings in a way that saves graphic designers precious time researching jobs that closely match their skill-set.

Full-time self-employed freelance graphic designers make up about 25 percent of the entire graphic design industry, but an even larger non-reported percent includes “hobbyists” and recently laid-off creative arts people who freelance as graphic designers in their spare time to earn extra cash.

Brian Scott, the site’s founder, said, “The majority of users who use our site include not only full-time freelance graphic designers, but also part-timers and aspiring graphic designers who seek short-term projects for extra cash or to build their portfolio.”

GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com lists paid graphic design jobs ranging from quick “one-day” assignments to in-depth “month-long” projects, paying from $ 100 to $ 3,000 per project — and much more. On average, the web site lists between 75 and 150 new freelance graphic design jobs each day.

Freelancing as a graphic designer is a fast growing niche occupation on the Internet today, only second to freelance writing. “Even in a recession, the number of freelance graphic design jobs continues to grow,” said Scott, who attributes the steady growth to downsized companies outsourcing more projects.

The US Department of Labor and the Occupational Outlook Handbook predicts graphic design jobs to grow by 10 percent this year as demand for graphic design continues to increase from advertisers, publishers, and computer design firms. Scott predicts that online freelance jobs for graphic designers will grow by a much larger percent as new technology — video games, mobile applications, cell phones, and online interactive media — thirsts for new graphic design talent from across the globe.

GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com is part of a network of “how to freelance” websites — all run and maintained by working freelancers — which include Graphic Design Bids, Freelance Photography Jobs, and Freelance Portfolios.

Graphic Designers can view today’s freelance jobs at http://www.GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs.com

Resources for Freelancers

Resources for Freelancers

With the growth of the internet, freelancing is taking off like never before. People now have great opportunities to offer their services in anything from writing to web design.

Some people choose to freelance part-time as supplementary income, while others choose to do it full-time. Regardless of your reason for freelancing, you will need resources to be successful. Freelancers face obstacles such as how to get clients and tax preparation. Let us take a look at some freelance resources that can help a freelancer succeed in today’s market place.

Google along with their many applications is one resource that can help a freelancer to succeed. They offer everything from email to Google voice. Google voice is a free service that allows you to use one telephone number to consolidate all your calls. It is a great solution, and you will never have to miss a business call again.

Sometimes you will need to send a fax as a freelancer. You don’t need to purchase a fax machine or run down to your local print shop. One of your best freelance resources is Fax Zero. They are a company that offers you a free fax service that you can use to send documents to companies and clients that need a signed document. This service is no doubt an important one to many freelancers. How many times has a freelancer had to take time out their busy day to run to a print shop to send a fax? It’s simply not worth the trouble when you have a service like Fax Zero.

Now Google is one of the best freelance resources, but Zoho may be just a bit better at the current moment. They offer services that Google does not offer yet. These include online invoicing, project management software and presentation software just to name a few. Their services are not free, but they are very affordable at only a month. For everything they offer a freelancer, that is a fair price. Zoho also offers you a customizable wiki when you sign up for their services. That tool can be a very useful feature for your business purposes.

Let us not forget about taxes. For many that decide to become freelancers taxes can be quite confusing. There is nothing like a helpful resource to help you put all of it together. TurboTax offers free calculators that you can use to get a better understanding of your tax situation. It will give you an idea of how much of your money that you earn needs to be set aside for tax purposes. You don’t want tax time to roll around and all of a sudden realize you haven’t been saving the money that you owe in taxes. With the free calculator that TurboTax offers, you can make sure that you are more than prepared to file your taxes as a freelancer.

There you have it—some great resources to help you on your journey. A lot of people decide to start freelancing but end up spinning their wheels due to lack of resources and help. They may have the right talent but lack the guidance needed to succeed. With proper resources you can avoid a lot of problems that hold many freelancers back. You have answers before you even think of the questions. You also have tools to make your business much more efficient. There is no reason that anybody serious about getting ahead wouldn’t use these resources.

Marketing Boot Camp for Freelance Writers

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) December 28, 2005

Seattle, WA, December 28, 2005—A marketing boot camp for freelance writers begins January 9, 2006. The course is designed to help freelance writers earn money and publishing credits by learning how to promote their written works. The boot camp will be instructed through WritersWeekly University. Independent copywriter and marketer, Sonya Carmichael Jones designed the curriculum and is the course instructor.

Get Published. Get Paid. Marketing Boot Camp for Freelance Writers is an internet-based six-week marketing obstacle course. It presents strategies and tactics freelance writers can use to earn a living at writing. The premise is that if freelance writers treat their writing as a business they will become more involved in marketing activities in order to keep their businesses thriving.

“It’s more typical for freelance writers to struggle with the business side of writing than with the creative aspects. As a result they don’t make money, says Sonya. “Freelance writing is a courageous career endeavor. But for writers to be successful they must strike a balance between their creative and business side”.

The marketing boot camp course has a two-prong goal:

1. Provide marketing industry insights that boost freelance writers’ efficiency in promoting their work.

2. Get freelance writers up to speed with essential skills needed to run an organized and professional writing business.

The course will be taught in an internet class forum hosted through WritersWeekly, the highest-circulation freelance writing ezine in the world. The class is geared for serious-minded writers interested in launching a full or part-time freelance writing career. There is no prerequisite other than enthusiasm and learning desire. To find out more about the course and to sign up, go to http://www.writersweekly.com/wwu/courses/freelance.html.

Sonya Carmichael Jones is an independent marketing strategist, advertising copywriter, and entrepreneurial success coach. She frequently writes for newspapers and trade magazines. She also teaches marketing to writers at learning centers throughout Seattle where she is currently based.
